Requirements for coming on an exchange
Being a student of the degree in Medicine in any of the countries with which we collaborate (check list) and have completed at least one year of clinical practice in their home country in the case of clinical exchanges (SCOPE).
In the case of research exchanges (SCORE), exceptionally students from other biosanitary degrees may apply.

Social plan
During their stay in the city of Valencia, incoming students will enjoy a social plan organized by AVEM.
This social plan includes:
- Pick-up and transfer on the arrival day from the airport/train/bus station to accommodation
- Accompaniment on the first day of practice at the hospital or laboratory
- Guided tour of the city center
- Tasting of typical products of Valencian gastronomy such as Horchata and Paella.
- Visit to the Albufera Natural Park.

Train
The Estació del Nord and Joaquín Sorolla Stations are connected to the main cities of the country.
Bus
Valencia’s bus station offers a wide range of routes at very affordable prices.
AVEM is a Local Committee of IFMSA-Spain that offers a program that includes exchanges and multiple activities.
